Random thoughts

Hallo! Some of you might be wondering why my blog says "The Poet" at the top. Well, here it is. I like poetry.
Yep. It's a pretty amazing reason.

Anyways, I got up before noon today! It's pretty impressive, I know. I just love days when I can sleep in, but I felt like getting up and surfing the internet.

So, that's really all I have to say. Might be back with another post later, we'll see what happens. If something crazy or interesting happens I'll tell you, although I usually have to set such things in motion. *sigh* Small towns can be so dull...

Missing the Rain :(

There hasn't been very much rain lately. I'm really missing it, because I'm one of those people that walk outside without an umbrella. I'd dance in the rain... if I could dance at all. But I can't, so I have to content myself with just feeling the shivery-sweet feel of the cold drops against my skin.

I love the rain.

Anyways, back to music. I've been listening to Evanescence and, more frequently, Paramore. I know what I say next is very debatable, but I absolutely adore their cover of Sunday Bloody Sunday. I like it much more than the u2 version, and nothing anyone says can ever change that. I respect those who prefer the u2 version, but I don't agree with them. 

Other Paramore songs I like are Ignorance, Monster, Brick by Boring Brick, and Misguided Ghosts. I love all their songs, these are just a few. I know some people think Paramore is overrated, but I don't. They're artists, and I respect that. 

I mean, they used "verbalize" in a song. It doesn't get any better.
